Vietnam team awarded 1 billion VND before match against Thailand

The Vietnamese team will meet Thailand in the first leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho) at 8:00 p.m. tonight, January 2.

In order to encourage and energize the players before the two upcoming important matches, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) has awarded the entire team a bonus of 1 billion VND.

This is a recognition of the team's efforts and achievements, helping the players feel proud and a great source of encouragement for the "golden star warriors" to continue to dedicate themselves and strive for the national flag, bringing glory to the Fatherland.

Previously, Acecook Vietnam Company decided to give the Vietnamese team a bonus of 1 billion VND after defeating Singapore to win the right to play in the final match of the ASEAN Cup 2024.

In addition, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) awarded the team 500 million VND after passing the group stage. Thus, the total bonus of the Vietnam team up to now is 2.5 billion VND.

If winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup, the Vietnamese team will receive a bonus of up to 300,000 USD (more than 7.6 billion VND) from the Southeast Asian Football Federation.

After winning the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, the Vietnamese team received a total of nearly 30 billion VND in bonuses from the tournament's Organizing Committee and sponsors, not to mention personal bonuses.
