The subjects were prosecuted and temporarily detained for the crime of abusing their positions and powers while performing official duties on February 4 in Chi Linh City.
On February 8, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province Police initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained 6 subjects who were former officers of the Traffic Police - Order Team of Chi Linh City Police, including: Bui Manh Tuan, Nguyen Van Bang, Nguyen Van Tuan, Mac Quoc Phuong, Nguyen Thanh Trung, Truong Manh Dang. The accused were detained for the crime of abusing their positions and powers while performing official duties that occurred on February 4 in Chi Linh City.
On the same day, the People's Procuracy of Hai Duong province approved the above decisions.
Hai Duong Provincial Police said that the above decisions were made under the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Minister of Public Security on implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo and the direction of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of Hai Duong province.
The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province Police is continuing to investigate the case to strictly handle related organizations and individuals in accordance with the regulations of the Party, the law and the police force with the viewpoint of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions, regardless of who that person is".
