According to the leaders of Cam Giang district, the special national relic of Xua Temple (Cam Vu commune) has been handed over to the district's relic management board. Previously, this relic was managed and exploited by the People's Committee of Cam Vu commune.
Xua Temple has been transferred to the Cam Giang District Relic Management Board for management and exploitation.
The District Relic Management Board will manage all items, spaces, scopes, architecture, artifacts, documents, relic ranking records... The handover aims to effectively manage, preserve, and promote the cultural values of the relics, synchronously connecting special national relics in the district.
Xua Temple worships the "Saint of Traditional Medicine" Great Physician Zen Master Tue Tinh, who pioneered the research of traditional medicine and laid the foundation for Vietnamese traditional medicine. He was from Nghia Phu village (Cam Vu commune).
Cam Giang district has 2 out of 4 special national relics of Hai Duong province, including Mao Dien Temple of Literature and the relic cluster of Xua Temple, Giam Pagoda, and Bia Temple. Of these, Giam Pagoda is still managed by the People's Committee of Dinh Son commune.
