Apple will upgrade the iPhone 16 Pro screen

The SDR display parameters of the new screen are 20% higher than the previous generation, making the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max the iPhone models with the brightest screens ever.

Apple has kept the SDR brightness at 1,000 nits since the launch of the iPhone 13 Pro in 2021. The SDR brightness of the display is used in most situations, making the new specification a worthy upgrade on the company's upcoming phone.

This account also said that the iPhone 16 Pro does not use Tandem OLED screen technology with two OLED display layers like the iPad M4. Instead, the device can use MLA OLED with new micro-lenses to increase brightness as well as reduce power consumption, thereby improving battery life.

Additionally, the screens of the two new iPhone models also have ultra-thin bezels as Apple uses a bezel-reduction structure (BSR) technology. This technology allows for a more compact and efficient layout of the circuitry underneath the screen, creating thinner bezels without affecting the performance of the screen or the overall design of the device.
