The first new houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hai Duong have been completed, bringing joy and happiness to many families.

In mid-March, Mr. Nguyen Huy Long (born in 1932, who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country) in Thach Loi area, Cam Giang town (Cam Giang) was very happy when his dilapidated, dilapidated lime-mortar house was replaced by a new, spacious, tiled house.

Leaders of the District People's Committee, representatives of some departments, branches and organizations of Cam Giang District visited and talked with Mr. Nguyen Huy Long's family in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Expressing his excitement in the new house, Mr. Long emotionally said: "Thank you to the Party, the State and the locality for joining hands to help the people have a decent house."

The house was built within 1.5 months, made of new materials, and is more than 30 m wide. 2with a total cost of 210 million VND, including 100 million VND in support from the local program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, along with the help of children and grandchildren.

Mr. Tran Van Dao, born in 1966 in Thach Loi area, Cam Giang town, is not as agile as others. His family is a poor household in the locality. The old house was degraded and at risk of collapsing at any time. With the attention of the locality, from the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the family was supported with funds to build a new house. The house is now completed, the yard is being developed.

Directly visiting and inspecting the progress of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Chairman of Cam Giang District People's Committee Tran Van Quyet requested departments, branches and localities of the district to join hands to soon complete shelters for the poor and disadvantaged.

Responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, in the spirit of not leaving anyone behind, all levels, sectors, localities and units in Hai Duong province have actively responded. As of mid-March, Hai Duong has started construction of more than 1,400 houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching 100% of the plan, of which more than 260 houses have been completed.
