Warm program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024 in Hai Duong

Comrade Nguyen Thi Mai Thoa, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education, National Assembly delegate of Hai Duong province; representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and more than 500 union members and workers attended.

Speaking at the program, Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa believed that in 2024, Hai Duong union members and workers will continue to innovate and create in production, contributing to the development of enterprises and the locality. She affirmed that the role of Hai Duong Trade Union will be increasingly demonstrated with the motto of focusing on the grassroots, taking union members and workers as the center, paying attention to organizing activities to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers and building a strong trade union organization.

On this occasion, the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation presented 450 Tet gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, 100 more gifts than last year's Tet.

On the sidelines of the program, 11 businesses supported a “zero-dong” booth with a variety of products. This booth will serve 1,200 union members in difficult circumstances who were previously given shopping vouchers. Union members will be able to choose essential items such as cooking oil, MSG, fish sauce, supplements, etc. worth 250,000 VND/meal. Union members who have vouchers but have not yet received them at the program will be given them later. In addition, workers will also receive free haircuts at the program.

According to the report of the Provincial Labor Federation, by January 26, 778/794 units and enterprises had plans to give Tet bonuses to workers and employees, of which 375 enterprises gave 13th month salary bonuses at the rate of 4.5-13 million VND/person. Some enterprises gave high bonuses at the rate of 20-50 million VND/person such as the following LLCs: Iriso Vietnam Electronics; Nissei Technology; a member of Massan HD... Many enterprises with a large number of workers and employees arranged shuttle buses or supported train and bus tickets for workers and employees living far away to return home for Tet.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation decided to support 10,638 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 5.3 billion VND.
