94 outstanding Youth Union officials nationwide received the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2022

This year, the Central Youth Union received 174 applications from 66/67 provincial, municipal and affiliated Youth Unions. Through a careful selection and review process, the selection council selected 94 outstanding Youth Union officials to be awarded the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2022.

Among the 94 outstanding Youth Union officials nationwide receiving the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2022, 89/94 comrades are Party members; 27 district-level Youth Union officials, 49 grassroots-level Youth Union officials, 18 branch secretaries... Regarding ethnicity, 11 comrades are ethnic minorities. Regarding religion, there are 2 Catholics, 1 Piety comrade, and 1 Buddhist comrade.

The 2022 Ly Tu Trong Award Ceremony took place on March 23 in Hanoi, in a combination of in-person and online formats.

The Ly Tu Trong Award is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union presented to the secretaries of the Youth Union branches; deputy secretaries, secretaries of the grassroots Youth Union; cadres directly involved in the work of the Youth Union, youth and children's movements at the district level with outstanding achievements in labor, work, Youth Union work and youth and children's movements. The award aims to encourage, support and commend the exemplary Youth Union cadres nationwide, contributing to the consolidation, construction and development of the Youth Union organization to become increasingly stronger; creating motivation for the Youth Union cadres to constantly train, strive and mature, contributing their intelligence and youth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
