According to Hai Duong Customs Branch, in the first 6 months of this year, the import and export turnover of goods (customs procedures carried out at this branch) reached over 8 billion 899 million USD, an increase of nearly 12% over the same period last year.
Specifically: export value reached nearly 4 billion 728 million USD, up nearly 12%, import value reached over 4 billion 171 million USD, up over 11.3% over the same period last year.
During the above period, the Department processed 234,876 import and export declarations, an increase of over 16.7% over the same period in 2023.
The top exporters in the province in the first 6 months of this year include: Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. ranked first, with an export turnover of nearly 404.4 million USD. Ranked second is Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. with nearly 304.5 million USD. Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. ranked third with over 289 million USD. Next is Tinh Loi Garment Co., Ltd. with over 287 million USD; Sumiden Vietnam Electric Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. with nearly 144.5 million USD.
In the top list of the province's largest importers, Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. is at the top with nearly 346.3 million USD. Second is Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. with over 247 million USD. Next are Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd., Hyundai Kefico Vietnam, and May Tinh Loi.
