On the morning of September 28, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Moi newspaper hosted the Forum “Innovation and improvement of the effectiveness of propaganda work for Party Congresses at all levels”. This is a cooperation program between three Party newspapers: Hanoi Moi, Thua Thien - Hue and Saigon Giai Phong.

The forum was attended by representatives of nearly 20 Party press agencies from provinces and cities across the country and the Hanoi press. This year's program took place in Hanoi on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and the entire Party and people are actively implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Speaking at the forum, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, welcomed the three Party newspapers for agreeing to choose the right forum topic at a time when Party organizations nationwide are urgently implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW. He emphasized four key contents to promote the role of Party newspapers in propagating Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Newspapers develop specific propaganda plans, divided into propaganda campaigns from now until the completion of the Party Congresses at all levels; from after the Party Congresses of provinces, cities and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee to the 14th National Party Congress; after the 14th National Party Congress and the implementation of the Congress resolution into life.
In particular, the propaganda before the Congress needs to filter the contributions of cadres, party members and people to the construction of documents for Party Congresses at all levels, especially the documents of the 14th Party Congress. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the contributions to socio-economic development plans, major orientations set for the new term, towards the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 100th anniversary of the country's founding.
Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy emphasized that the propaganda work on Party Congresses at all levels must contribute to creating an exciting, joyful atmosphere, creating consensus in the entire political system and the people so that Party Congresses at all levels truly become a widespread political activity. Speaking at the conference, Editor-in-Chief of Hai Duong Newspaper Nguyen Quy Trong said that attracting readers to propaganda about Party building is not an easy task. However, if done well, this content will always attract readers.
From practical experience at Hai Duong newspaper, comrade Nguyen Quy Trong said that in disseminating the content of Party building in general, and disseminating the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress in particular, it is necessary to select and find issues that are close to and of interest to the people. Recently, Hai Duong newspaper has disseminated some new views of General Secretary and President To Lam on the era of national development, criteria for Party committee members in selecting personnel for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, inspection and supervision work, etc., which has attracted the attention of many readers.
In his closing speech at the forum, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc acknowledged the profound comments of the delegates at the forum. Through the sharing and evaluation of the delegates, he summarized 5 key tasks that need attention to innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda work for Party Congresses at all levels.
That is, proactively develop propaganda plans for Party Congresses at all levels; identify key content in propaganda work; propose experiences in organizing columns, discussions, and workshops to collect comments on Party Congress documents; innovate propaganda methods in print, electronic newspapers, and digital platforms; proactively propose and develop budget plans, place orders, and organize workshops.
At the end of the forum, Hanoi Moi newspaper handed over the right to host the forum to Saigon Giai Phong newspaper.
At the forum, Thua Thien - Hue newspaper supported the people affected by storm No. 3 through the Hanoi Moi newspaper's Charitable Heart Fund with VND30 million. Before the opening of the forum, on the afternoon of September 27, Saigon Giai Phong newspaper coordinated with Hanoi Moi newspaper to present gifts worth more than VND600 million to students and 2 schools in Chuong My and My Duc districts (Hanoi city).
