Cam Giang district has just organized the implementation of the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units for the period 2023 - 2025 on the afternoon of October 2.
According to the plan, in the period of 2023 - 2025, Cam Giang district will merge Thach Loi commune into Cam Giang town to form Cam Giang town; merge Cam Dien commune with Cam Phuc commune to form Phuc Dien commune. These are communes and towns with adjacent administrative boundaries. After the merger, compact administrative units will be formed, suitable for the scale, area, and population, creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development.
Cam Giang district strives to put new administrative units into official operation from July 1, 2024.
