This is one of the outstanding results of the Ministry of Health in implementing digital transformation in healthcare to create the most convenience for people.
The Ministry of Health added that 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities and medical personnel training facilities have cashless payment services in various forms (bank transfer, QR code scanning, e-wallet, medical examination and treatment cards connected to banks...) to ensure convenience for people when going to see a doctor, paying tuition fees without using cash.
To deploy and promote the implementation of digital transformation in healthcare, the Ministry of Health has recently issued many documents on strengthening the implementation of e-health and digital healthcare.
Regarding the development and implementation of the Personal Health Record Platform, the Ministry of Health said that up to now, the health departments of provinces and centrally run cities have deployed health record software, with more than 85 million electronic health records issued.
The Ministry of Health is continuing to develop, complete and deploy the Electronic Health Book system to compare administrative information and connect and share with the national population database; regularly update and store information on people's health status throughout their lives, and integrate the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application.
Currently, the Ministry of Health has coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee to successfully deploy the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application. The Ministry of Health has developed a plan and organized the implementation to expand to all provinces and cities across the country.
