Publishing the General Secretary's book on determination to implement the 13th National Congress Resolution

On February 2, the National Political Publishing House Truth announced that it had just published two books by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: “Turning challenges into opportunities, determined to create breakthroughs to develop the country quickly and sustainably” and “Building a clean and strong Party and political system, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.”

The two books select typical speeches, articles, addresses, letters, telegrams... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the 3 years (2021-2023) implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; demonstrating the General Secretary's comprehensive leadership and direction in all fields, with sectors, levels, and localities.

The publication of these two books is a continuation of the books published by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong during the 11th and 12th terms of the Party.

The book "Turning challenges into opportunities, determined to create breakthroughs to bring the country to rapid and sustainable development" selects speeches, articles, interviews, letters, telegrams... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong from April 2021 to December 2022.

In the context of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, affecting the whole world, Vietnam is also heavily affected, but the strategic orientation of the Party Central Committee, headed by the General Secretary, is an important driving force for the entire Party and people to overcome difficulties and challenges, quickly concretize and implement the resolutions and goals of the 13th National Congress with high determination, in order to create breakthroughs, turn challenges into opportunities, take advantage of all opportunities, seize all conditions, and complete the set plans with the highest results.

The new point in the working method of the 13th term is that right after the Congress, the national conferences of the National Assembly, the Government and the blocs: internal affairs, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, national defense, security, culture, foreign affairs... were organized synchronously and methodically right from the beginning of the term, clearly and correctly orienting the implementation of the resolution in the entire political system, the participation from the beginning of the sectors, levels, localities, the solidarity and efforts of the entire people with the country's development goals in the 5 years of 2021-2026 as well as the following years.

The book "Building a clean and strong Party and political system, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress" selects typical speeches, articles, interviews, letters, telegrams... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in 2023, showing the close and dedicated direction of the head of our Party on important issues of the country in 2023 - the pivotal year for implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Regarding the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, speaking at the mid-term Conference (7th Central Conference), the General Secretary affirmed that in a very special context with many difficulties and challenges, "thanks to the high determination and efforts, great and persistent contributions of the entire Party, people and army, we have successfully and quite comprehensively achieved the goals and tasks: focusing on both preventing and controlling the epidemic, promoting socio-economic recovery and development, building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with proactive, active and deep international integration, effectively."

A highlight of 2023 is that the work of Party building and the political system continues to have many innovations and positive changes, achieving important results. With the spirit of "no stopping, no resting", "no forbidden areas, no exceptions", in 2023, the work of fighting corruption and negativity will continue to be deployed drastically, synchronously, comprehensively, and methodically, creating a great deterrent and warning.

2024 - a year of special significance in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the General Secretary requested to "Focus on prioritizing promoting and improving growth quality, creating jobs, increasing income for workers on the basis of maintaining macroeconomic stability, ensuring major economic balances, and ensuring social security."

The two books of the General Secretary demonstrate the comprehensive and strategic leadership and direction of the head of our Party on important issues of the country. They are valuable documents for all levels, sectors, localities and Party organizations to study and thoroughly grasp in order to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
