On the afternoon of February 13, the Government's Project 06 Working Group held an online meeting to deploy tasks for implementing the project in the coming time. General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, Head of the Government's Project 06 Working Group chaired the meeting.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Working Group implementing Project 06 provinces chaired the bridge point at Hai Duong Provincial Police.
According to the draft Directive of the Prime Minister on promoting the implementation of the project to develop applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030, with the efforts of ministries, branches, localities, and information technology enterprises, after 3 years of deployment and implementation, Project 06 has focused on solving 5 bottlenecks, contributing to Vietnam increasing 15 ranks and being ranked by the United Nations in the group of countries with very high e-Government index.
However, during the implementation process, there are still 38 tasks behind schedule, especially the promulgation, amendment and supplementation of institutions, mechanisms and policies...
Concluding the conference, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, requested that the standing agency urgently review to determine which ministries and branches will continue to carry out the tasks of Project 06 after streamlining the apparatus, so as not to interrupt the work.
In 2025, there are 136 tasks under Project 06, of which 31 are general tasks, the rest are specific tasks, the responsibility of ministries, branches and localities, so they need to be implemented drastically right after this conference.
For the 38 tasks behind schedule, the standing agency needs to identify the responsible unit to determine the cause and urge implementation.
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities urgently overcome tasks behind schedule from 2022-2024 to ensure "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear results".
Regularly hold meetings and inspections to remove difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks according to the principle of "leadership from top to bottom but implementation and removal of obstacles must be from bottom to top".
