Tan Hong Commune (Binh Giang) meets the standards of a model new rural area in culture.

In the process of building a model new rural area, Tan Hong commune has mobilized resources to build rural infrastructure, complete cultural, medical and educational institutions, and fulfill the criteria for building a model new rural area.

The total investment cost for basic construction in building Tan Hong commune to become a model new rural area is 96 billion VND. Of which, the superior budget supports 21 billion VND, the commune budget 75 billion VND. "Generous benefactors" inside and outside the locality, and the people support the upgrading and construction of national historical and cultural relics, and some spiritual works with nearly 20 billion VND.

The villages of Tan Hong commune all have cultural and artistic clubs for women, farmers, veterans, and poetry clubs for the elderly that operate regularly. Every year, the commune organizes art and sports festivals that attract more than 1,000 people to participate, contributing to preserving and promoting local cultural traditions...

The rural appearance of Tan Hong commune has changed significantly. In 2023, the average income per capita was over 74.9 million VND/year. The poverty rate decreased to 0.3%.

With the above results, Tan Hong commune has been recognized by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province as "A model new rural commune in culture in 2022".
