On the morning of September 18, after traveling nearly 1,700 km, the working delegation of Military Region 7 Command arrived in Hai Duong, bringing dozens of tons of necessities to support people in the province affected by storms and floods.
Receiving the delegation at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee office were comrades: Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Tran Van Quan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue.
Also receiving the delegation were leaders of Military Region 3 and the Military Command of Hai Duong province.
On behalf of the working delegation of the Military Region 7 Command, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Commissar of the Military Region Command, sent condolences and sympathies for the losses and difficulties that Hai Duong province had to endure due to storm No. 3.
Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc emphasized that, through the resistance wars to save the country or whenever the provinces of Military Region 7 encountered natural disasters or epidemics, the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong always promoted the spirit of solidarity, ready to support people and property for their compatriots in the South.
Now, while the people of Hai Duong are facing many losses and difficulties caused by storms and floods, the people of the South, including officers and soldiers of Military Region 7, always turn their hearts to them.
With responsibility and affection, the Military Region 7 Command and businesses located in the Military Region have decided to support the people of Hai Duong with 25 tons of rice, 3,114 boxes of various dry food, instant noodles, canned meat, bottled water and life jackets, with a total value of 2 billion VND. We hope that these essential goods will contribute to helping people affected by storm No. 3 to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan expressed their emotion and acknowledged the attention and affection of the officers and soldiers of Military Region 7 and the benefactors for Hai Duong. This attention contributes to further enhancing the precious tradition of great solidarity of the nation, which is an important foundation to help the whole country in general and Hai Duong in particular overcome difficulties and challenges, and move forward steadily...
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will soon advise and propose to the province to promptly transfer all of the above necessities to people who suffered damage and had many difficulties in their lives due to storm No. 3.
