On the morning of January 23, Vietcombank Hai Duong branch coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Mien district to organize the handover of a "great solidarity" house to a household in Thanh Mien district.
This is the first house supported by this bank in 2024.
The recipient is Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngan, born in 1935, a poor household in Doan Ket village, Hong Phong commune (Thanh Mien). The newly built house is a level 4 house, with an area of 70 m2. The total construction cost is nearly 300 million VND, of which Vietcombank sponsored 50 million VND, the rest was mobilized from the family, some other organizations and individuals.
It is expected that in 2024, Vietcombank Hai Duong will support the construction of 11 "great solidarity" houses, each worth 50 million VND.
Previously, on January 19 and 22, Vietcombank Hai Duong also had a number of other community activities such as giving 50 gifts, totaling 25 million VND in the "Charitable Tet" program organized by the Red Cross Society of Thanh Binh Ward (Hai Duong City); sponsoring 10 sets of computers, worth 75 million VND for Chu Van An Primary School (Hai Duong City).
