Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working trip to attend CAEXPO and CABIS in China contributed to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting practical economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China.
At noon on September 17, the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, successfully concluding the working trip to attend the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) from September 16-17, 2023 at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.
During the working trip of just over 27 hours in the beautiful city of Nanning, along with attending and speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 20th CAEXPO and CABIS, visiting the exhibition area and trade pavilions of Vietnam and other countries, attending official activities within the framework of the fair and conference; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with leaders of China and Guangxi province; received leading Chinese and ASEAN enterprises to promote investment, production and business cooperation.
The working trip contributes to enhancing political trust, consolidating Vietnam-China bilateral relations; promoting practical cooperation, especially in economics and trade between Vietnam and China in general and between Vietnamese localities and Guangxi-China in particular.
At CAEXPO, Vietnam continues to affirm that it is the country with the largest number of booths and exhibition area in ASEAN, second only to the host country China, thereby creating opportunities for Vietnamese goods to reach the Chinese market and ASEAN countries, contributing to the common economic cooperation and growth of the region, thereby actively contributing to the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
