The 2024 AFF Cup semi-finals have determined the four participating teams including Thailand, Singapore (Group A), Vietnam and the Philippines (Group B).
In the final round of the group stage, Vietnam and the Philippines became the two teams representing Group B to advance after important victories over Myanmar and Indonesia. The resounding 5-0 victory over Myanmar also helped the Vietnamese team take sole possession of the top spot in Group B.
Previously, in Group A, Thailand affirmed their position as champions with 4 wins to have 12 absolute points, entering the semi-finals as group winners. The second place in this group belongs to Singapore.
Thus, in the semi-finals, the Vietnamese team will face the Singapore team, while the remaining semi-final match will be between Thailand and the Philippines.
