Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan presents Tet gifts to workers in difficulty

Comrades: Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, enterprises and 350 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances attended.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan suggested that after the Tet holiday, workers continue to strive to improve their qualifications and professional skills, work productively and with high quality, contributing to building a strong Hai Duong workforce.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung presented Tet gifts to workers.

He suggested that trade unions at all levels in the province continue to innovate content, have more practical activities to care for union members and workers; strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, excellently complete tasks, affirm the position and prestige of the trade union organization with society and workers. He called on units and enterprises to continue to accompany the trade union organization, regularly have activities to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the traditional New Year.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor commended businesses that have accompanied trade unions to care for workers in difficult circumstances.

According to the report of the Provincial Federation of Labor, as of January 8, the whole province had 608 units and enterprises with trade unions that had developed plans to give Tet bonuses to workers and employees. Of these, 341 enterprises awarded the 13th month salary with an average of 4.5-13 million VND/person. Some enterprises had high bonuses for employees with outstanding achievements in production, from 70-170 million VND/person. In addition, many enterprises arranged shuttle buses or supported train and bus tickets for employees living far away to return home for Tet. 15 trade unions at the grassroots level have developed plans to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ket Ket" to share difficulties with workers.

Workers and laborers get free haircuts at the program

On the occasion of Tet Quy Mao 2023, the Provincial Labor Federation decided to support 15,748 union members and workers in difficulty with a total of more than 8 billion VND.

At the program "Tet sum vay - spring tiet", the Provincial Labor Federation directly subsidized and supported bus tickets for 350 union members and workers far from home in difficult circumstances (each ticket includes 500,000 VND, bus ticket support of 300,000 VND and gift bags worth 200,000 VND). The Organizing Committee arranged 2 "0 VND" booths including: "Ao Dai booth" used with nearly 700 Ao Dai sets and "Tet booth" with 1,000 Tet gift bags (worth about 200,000 VND/bag); free haircuts for workers and laborers from support sources of agencies, units and enterprises.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor commended 8 enterprises that actively accompanied the trade union organization in taking care of workers.
