The mini app “Vietnam Disaster Prevention” on the Zalo platform is one of the digital transformation solutions for people across the country to proactively prevent natural disasters and floods.
The Standing Office of the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) released the mini app "Vietnam Natural Disaster Prevention and Control" on the Zalo platform. This is an application with many features to help support people in emergency situations during the rainy and stormy season.

The most prominent feature of this mini application is “Connect to help”. In emergency situations, people can use this feature to provide contact information, send location with description and images for timely rescue by functional forces.
A list of phone numbers and hotlines will also be displayed on the screen so that people can contact local authorities through the “Emergency Contact” feature.
With the “Report natural disasters” feature on the mini app, users can proactively send to the authorities the status, potential risks or natural disaster situations in the area where they live. Through the information provided, the authorities in the area will have input data to quickly handle and overcome the consequences of natural disasters in a timely manner.
Zalo's mini app also provides a lot of knowledge, information, and images to guide and help users develop skills to proactively respond before, during, and after natural disasters occur.
When using the mini app “Vietnam Disaster Prevention”, people will be quickly updated with weather conditions in their area and emergency warnings in their localities. The application also supports many languages such as Dao, Mong, Thai, Khmer, helping everyone, including ethnic minorities, to access it.

Method 1:Open Zalo app, on the main interface screen: select Explore -> click on Mini app -> in the search section type the phrase "Vietnam Disaster Prevention" -> click on the mini app that appears
