The rate of female patients with dengue fever in Hai Duong is higher than that of male patients. People with this disease are concentrated in the 18-59 age group.
According to the provincial Center for Disease Control, on October 15, Hai Duong recorded 14 more patients with dengue fever, an increase of 7 cases compared to the previous day.
In the last two days, Hai Duong has not had any new outbreaks. The province still has 19 active outbreaks of dengue fever.
From January 1 to October 15, Hai Duong recorded 691 patients with dengue fever, an increase of 251 cases compared to the same period in 2022. All 12 districts, towns and cities in the province have people with dengue fever. Hai Duong city has the highest number of cases in the province with more than 150 cases, mainly cases with domestic factors; the lowest is Binh Giang district with 12 cases.
In Hai Duong, the number of dengue fever cases in women (50.97%) is higher than that in men (49.03%). In terms of age, the group from 18-59 years old has the highest rate (nearly 67%), the group under 5 years old has the lowest rate (1.82%).
As of October 15, many dengue fever patients are still being treated at the Provincial General Hospital, Hai Duong Tropical Diseases Hospital and some district-level medical centers.
Since the beginning of the year, Hai Duong has not recorded any deaths from dengue fever.
