The male singer said he and his crew worked quickly to release this song on the day the capital was liberated.
With the national pride inherent in his being, Tung Duong always cherished the desire to perform a National Anthem with his own solo voice and spread the new vitality of the classic work that every Vietnamese person knows by heart.
Since he was a primary school student, Tung Duong was often assigned the task of leading the whole school to sing the National Anthem every flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week. That is a fond memory that always makes him feel proud.
He believes that the National Anthem is a special song, which whenever it is played is very solemn and sacred, as if giving everyone strength and faith to overcome all storms in life, especially in the context of the raging epidemic.
Tung Duong realized that the fact that up to now, all recordings of this work have been performed by choirs or groups with the sounds of trumpets and drums, and there has been no official recording of a solo voice. This is what motivated him to make the MV.
According to Tung Duong, there are many ways to renew an immortal work, but with the National Anthem, no matter how it is renewed, it must still maintain its boldness and intense exuberance.

“Perhaps many artists hesitate to renew their works, especially the National Anthem, because it is a big challenge and may even be criticized, but my point of view is different. If we do not dare to try, we will not bring freshness and modernity to music. Moreover, if we hesitate, we will miss the opportunity to prove the lasting vitality of the work,” Tung Duong shared.
This bold project of Tung Duong is accompanied by producer Nguyen Huu Vuong, who collaborated with Tung Duong in the live show Con nguoi.
Music director Nguyen Huu Vuong revealed that he used the Epic genre in arranging the work of musician Van Cao.
“Tung Duong and I want the National Anthem to be a gift to encourage people at this time. For artists, there is nothing more beautiful and necessary than using their music products to comfort and encourage people, bring them new energy and inspiration, and accompany them through difficult times with many challenges,” Nguyen Huu Vuong shared.
