The question and answer session took place from June 4-6. The National Assembly's questions focused on four groups of issues in the fields of Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade, Audit, Culture, Sports and Tourism.
According to the program, from 9:50 to 11:20 on June 6, the Prime Minister (or authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will clarify related issues and answer questions from National Assembly deputies.
The questioning sessions are televised and broadcast live for voters and people to follow.
Another important content also broadcast live on television and radio is the National Assembly's discussion on the approval of the 2022 state budget settlement (including the implementation of regulations in Resolution No. 91/2023/QH15 on approval of the 2021 state budget settlement and Resolution No. 94/2019/QH14 on tax debt relief, late payment penalty debt relief, and late payment interest for taxpayers who are no longer able to pay the state budget).
During the working week, the National Assembly discussed a number of draft laws and resolutions, including: Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools (amended); Law on Amendments and Supplements to a Number of Articles of the Law on Security Guards; Law on Trade Unions (amended); Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); Law on Juvenile Justice; Resolution on piloting the addition of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 119/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly on piloting the organization of an urban government model and a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
The National Assembly also discussed the Investment Policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period; the proposal to ratify the document of accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and the National Marine Spatial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
According to the program, during the working week, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on the Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2025, adjustments to the Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2024, and the Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervision Program for 2025.
