With 1,261 units of blood collected since the beginning of the year, Tu Ky district has exceeded the annual blood donation target assigned by the province by more than 5%.
On July 14, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Tu Ky district coordinated with Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital to organize the 2024 Summer Voluntary Blood Donation Festival.
With the message “Donate blood - Give life”, the festival attracted more than 650 volunteers including officials, civil servants, employees, workers and people in the district to register to donate blood. The organizing committee received 490 units of blood.
Since the beginning of the year, after 4 voluntary blood donation campaigns, Tu Ky district has collected 1,261 units of blood, exceeding 5% of the plan assigned by the province in 2024.
