Model Ngoc Trinh prosecuted for "Disturbing public order"

Ho Chi Minh City People's Court has just received the indictment and case file related to model Ngoc Trinh.

Specifically, Tran Thi Ngoc Trinh (model Ngoc Trinh) was prosecuted for the crime of "Disturbing public order" under Clause 2, Article 318 of the Penal Code; defendant Tran Xuan Dong (37 years old, residing in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) was prosecuted for the crimes of "Disturbing public order" and "Using fake documents of agencies and organizations".

According to the prosecution, on October 6, 2023, despite not having a class A2 driver's license, Ngoc Trinh, together with her driving instructor Tran Xuan Dong, organized and performed acts of driving a large-displacement motorbike with dangerous and offensive movements such as lying down, kneeling on the saddle, letting go of both hands to let the motorbike run on its own... performing on a public road in Thu Thiem and Tang Nhon Phu B wards (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), negatively affecting the security and order situation in the locality.

Afterwards, Ngoc Trinh organized filming, editing and posting the clips on social media accounts with a large number of followers, causing negative impacts and adversely affecting security and order in cyberspace.

The videos appeared on Ngoc Trinh's personal social media accounts. The videos then spread widely on the internet.

Through investigation, the police also determined that, regarding the motorbike with license plate 59A3-115.88, the suspect Dong presented a fake registration certificate No. 122678. This person admitted that although he knew the motorbike registration certificate was fake, he still intentionally bought it because he saw that the motorbike was cheap.
