Nguyen Luong Bang Secondary School is always innovative and creative in management, teaching methods, testing and evaluation according to the 2018 general education program. The school's teaching staff is always united and has a high sense of responsibility. The school's staff, teachers and employees are always proactive and actively participate in emulation movements and major campaigns launched by the industry.

In the 2021-2022 school year, the school has excellently completed the assigned tasks and set targets. The school continues to affirm the quality of key education with excellent student results ranking first in the district and first in the province. In which, the math and literature teams ranked first, the other teams all achieved and exceeded the set targets. The quality of mass education is always ranked first in the district. 100% of grade 9 students are eligible to graduate from junior high school, of which 94.3% of students graduated with honors. In the quality of the entrance exam to grade 10 in the 2021-2022 school year, the school ranked 2nd out of 256 junior high schools in the province. Of which, 2 students were valedictorians. Nguyen Dinh Huan, valedictorian of Thanh Mien 1 High School, is also the valedictorian of the province, and Vu Dinh Binh, valedictorian of Doan Thuong High School.

With the above results, in the 2021-2022 school year, the school was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as an excellent labor collective and was awarded the emulation flag by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as the leading unit in the secondary school sector. Many teachers were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Minister of Education and Training.
