Requisitioning a section of National Highway 37 to organize the Cross-Country Race "Journey to Connect Cultural Heritage"

The first Hai Duong province cross-country race "Journey to connect cultural heritage" has 3 distances: 5 km, 10 km and 15 km. Of which, the 5 km distance runs 1 lap around Con Son lake; the 10 km and 15 km distances start from Con Son pagoda bus station to Kiep Bac temple gate, and will have to use about 100 m of National Highway 37. For the 15 km distance, athletes will run 1 more lap around Con Son lake.

It is expected that the 15 km distance will start first, followed by the 10 km distance. The Organizing Committee calculated that the athletes in the two distances will cross Highway 37 at An Linh intersection at the same time to minimize the impact on passing vehicles.

According to the Organizing Committee, athletes running the 10km and 15km distances will cross Highway 37 in about 30 minutes. When the athletes pass, traffic police and traffic inspectors will restrict traffic or stop completely to ensure traffic safety. Therefore, there will definitely be congestion, because Highway 37 has a very high traffic density. Drivers can proactively choose a suitable route to avoid affecting their work.

The first Hai Duong province cross-country race "Journey to connect cultural heritage" had over 850 professional, semi-professional and amateur athletes competing, including some of Southeast Asia's top athletes, famous athletes and foreign athletes working in Vietnam.

The tournament will take place on the morning of February 26 (January 17).
