The exhibition "Economic, cultural and social achievements of the Capital after 70 years of construction and development" has officially opened and welcomed visitors at the Hanoi Museum.
The exhibition, which takes place from October 4-14, is considered one of the key activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). The event aims to introduce the important achievements that the City has achieved over 70 years of fighting, working and developing to what it is today.
The exhibition introduces the important achievements of the capital Hanoi in combat, labor, production and development, the special marks in the leadership, direction and administration of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee. Thereby, it propagates, raises awareness, consciousness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people of the capital about the morality of "drinking water, remembering its source" and promotes the image of the capital. At the same time, it demonstrates the determination to strive to build a civilized - modern - civilized capital Hanoi.
The exhibition took place on a large scale, with more than 500 images, 500 artifacts and vivid, visual models. Notably, the event also applied modern technology techniques such as integrating documentary screenings, 3D mapping projections... helping viewers relive historical periods of the nation.

The exhibition consists of 5 parts corresponding to 5 display spaces.
Part 1: Hanoi before 1954, with the theme "Thousand-year tradition".
Part 2: Hanoi in the process of building Socialism and the resistance war against the US to save the country (1954-1975), with the theme "Forever the heroic epic".
Part 3: Hanoi and the whole country build Socialism, carry out the renovation process (1975 - 2008), with the theme "On the path of renovation and development".
Part 4: Hanoi capital expansion from 2008 to present, with the theme "Expansion and development".
Part 5: Orientation for the development of the Capital to 2030, vision to 2050, with the theme of a civilized - cultured - modern Capital.
