The number of athletes registered to participate in the Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament this year increased compared to the previous tournament.
On the morning of August 26, the 2023 Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament opened at the Provincial Children's House.
This is an annual tournament organized by the Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association. This year's tournament attracted 42 athletes (an increase of 12 athletes) to register for table tennis and badminton. The athletes belong to the Journalists Association: Hai Duong Newspaper, Hai Duong Radio and Television Station, Department of Information and Communications and the Senior Journalists Club.

In table tennis, players compete in 4 categories: men's team; men's doubles from 18 to 65 years old; men's singles from 46 to 65 years old and men's singles from 18 to 45 years old.

Badminton has 4 events: team; men's doubles; mixed doubles and men's singles.

At this tournament last year, Hai Duong Newspaper team won the men's team competition in table tennis, and the Department of Information and Communications won the men's team competition in badminton. The Department of Information and Communications won the championship cup.
The tournament will end the same afternoon.
