At the departure point from Long Bien Station, the Hanoi Railway Operation Branch (the unit managing Long Bien Station) has just renovated and put into operation a check-in waiting room from a level 4 house. At the waiting room, visitors can not only see the whole view of Long Bien Bridge, Phung Hung elevated railway line, the bridge road leading to Long Bien Bridge on Tran Nhat Duat Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi), but also enjoy coffee, watch the train station, comfortably rest, relax, and take safe photos before boarding the train to start the journey.

This is the development trend of the Railway industry in the coming time, to continuously improve quality and services, meet the needs and attract tourists to localities where the railway passes through.

"The "1-day Foodtour" program is currently a suitable strategic product on the short route Hanoi - Hai Duong - Hai Phong. The Hanoi - Hai Phong route alone in the first 5 months of 2023 transported more than 554,000 passengers, an increase of 190% over the same period in 2022 and an increase of 142% over the same period in 2019, before the pandemic," Mr. Nguyen Tat Thuong shared.

According to Mr. Tran Van Hanh, Director of Hai Phong Railway Transport Branch, the Branch has coordinated with the Department of Tourism of Hai Duong and Hai Phong to publish the Foodtour map and the check-in map of destinations; at the same time, distribute it to passengers to learn about places to eat and visit through a digital approach on smartphones. This is the first product that contributes significantly to creating good initial impressions in the journey of tourists experiencing the "1-day Foodtour".
