Hai Duong City won the "Long Hai Jelly" Cup for the second consecutive time

On the afternoon of October 26, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism closed the Table Tennis Championship for all age groups competing for the 'Long Hai Jelly' Cup. The tournament took place from October 25, with the participation of over 150 players from Hai Duong City, Chi Linh City, Kinh Mon Town; Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach, Kim Thanh districts and the Hai Duong Provincial Police team.

In men's singles and doubles, men's doubles are divided into 3 age groups: 35 years old and under;36 - 50 years old;51 years and older. Women's doubles and singles are divided into 2 age groups: 40 years and younger;41 years of age and older. Athletes compete in 6 events: men's team, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's singles and women's singles.

With 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, the Hai Duong City team won the overall championship for the second consecutive year. The Provincial Police and Chi Linh City teams finished second and third, respectively, winning 2 gold medals, 3 bronze medals; 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals. In this tournament in 2023, Hai Duong City won 8 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals.

In the men's team event, Chi Linh City won the championship, Hai Duong City came in second, and the Provincial Police and Nam Sach District won third place.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament took place according to the regulations, attracting many high-ranking players from Hai Duong in the Vietnam Table Tennis Forum, such as Nguyen Huu Thai, Doan Van Khanh, Nguyen Van Khanh, Nguyen Duc Anh (Hai Duong City), Pham Khac Tan (Chi Linh City)... The matches were exciting and rich in technique.
