In the first 6 months of 2023, Hai Duong tax sector collected and processed more than 1,917 billion VND in tax arrears. Also during this period, the total tax and fee arrears were more than 746 billion VND, accounting for 4.9% of the total state budget revenue estimate in 2023, ensuring the target assigned by the General Department of Taxation.
The total tax debt as of June 30, 2023 is more than VND 2,311 billion, including collectible debt of VND 2,100 billion, accounting for 90.9% of the total tax debt; difficult-to-collect debt of VND 203.4 billion; debt pending settlement of VND 7.7 billion.
Regarding debt settlement under Resolution 94, by June 30, out of 12,504 taxpayers who had to settle debt, Hai Duong Provincial Tax Department had settled nearly VND549 billion in debt for 9,958 taxpayers (the remaining number did not meet the conditions for debt settlement).
