On October 8, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Premier Li Qiang will pay an official visit to Vietnam from October 12 to 14, 2024.
This is the first official visit of Chinese Premier Li Qiang to Vietnam in this position. The last time a Chinese Premier officially visited our country was in October 2013, when Li Keqiang visited Vietnam.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang's visit to Vietnam took place after General Secretary and President To Lam paid a state visit to China from August 18 to 20, 2024.
After more than 30 years of normalization, especially more than 15 years since the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership framework in 2008, Vietnam-China relations have made rapid and increasingly profound and comprehensive progress in all fields.
