The Provincial People's Committee has announced the revocation of more than 34.7 hectares of land from Vinamit Joint Stock Company due to violations of the Land Law.
On March 6, the Provincial People's Committee announced the recovery of more than 34.7 hectares of non-agricultural production land of Vinamit Joint Stock Company in Ai Quoc and Nam Dong wards (Hai Duong city), including more than 22.5 hectares of land in Ai Quoc ward, the remaining area is land in Nam Dong ward.
The reason for the revocation is that Vinamit Joint Stock Company was leased land by the Provincial People's Committee to implement the project of a processing factory, a warehouse for preserving vegetables, tubers, fruits and a model for introducing the production process of agricultural products, but was slow to put the land into use, violating the land law, falling under the case of land revocation according to the provisions of Point i, Clause 1, Article 64 of the 2013 Land Law; Clause 8, Article 81 of the 2024 Land Law.
The time limit for implementing the land reclamation notice is 45 days. During this time, Vinamit Joint Stock Company is responsible for handling assets within the project's land boundaries and handling assets on the land. In case the company does not comply with the asset handling, the State shall decide to repossess the land and enforce the repossession decision in accordance with the provisions of law...
Vinamit Joint Stock Company was granted its first business registration certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province in 2007, with its business address in Tan Dinh ward, Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province.
