Hanoi capital in top 20 most popular cities with international tourists

The world-famous travel review platform Tripadvisor has just announced the Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Destinations rankings for 2023.

Accordingly, Hanoi ranked 17th in the list of most popular cities with international tourists.

Hanoi is the "Old Charming Capital" with many preserved ancient architectures, alongside the development of modern society is Tripadvisor's introduction to the thousand-year-old capital of culture in Vietnam.

Monuments such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoa Lo Prison with lakes, parks, temples and pagodas have contributed to increasing the attractiveness of the city. Coming here, visitors can easily explore the city by double-decker bus, taxi, motorbike, etc.

Notably, Hanoi was also mentioned in the category “Best culinary destination” at number 3. Popular culinary addresses in Hanoi with Tripadvisor users include Huong Lien vermicelli with grilled pork, Giang coffee, Thang Long fish cake, and Ly Quoc Su pho.

In the category “Trending Destinations,” Vietnam contributed two names, including Hoi An (Quang Nam) ranked 2nd and Ho Chi Minh City ranked 11th.

Ho Chi Minh City is known as the busiest city in Vietnam. Tripadvisor suggests that visitors take a taxi tour of the city, passing by the War Remnants Museum, Ngoc Hoang Pagoda, bustling Ben Thanh Market and culinary experiences.
