On July 19, the Vietnam Journalists Association coordinated with press agencies and the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association to organize the "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude" program in Quang Tri, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.

The program was attended by Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi, leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, representatives of a number of press agencies, the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, sponsors, units and organizations under the Central Agency of the Vietnam Journalists Association. In particular, the program was attended by former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.
The program "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude" in Quang Tri took place over 2 days (July 19 and 20) with many meaningful and practical activities. In particular, the delegation performed the incense offering ceremony and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence at the red addresses of Quang Tri province. In addition, many "Repaying gratitude" activities were organized such as: Giving gifts to policy beneficiaries; giving gratitude houses, great solidarity houses to families with revolutionary contributions, families in difficult circumstances; giving gifts to poor households; giving many scholarships, gifts to poor but studious students, new students in difficult circumstances; building classrooms for schools in border communes; giving national flags; the program "Lighting up lights at sea with fishermen"; support poor households to borrow capital with 0% interest rate... In particular, in this journey of "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude", the Vietnam Journalists Association gives many meaningful gifts to veteran journalists, veteran journalists, relatives of martyrs, journalists who are children of war invalids and martyrs...
According to Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi, the program "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude" in Quang Tri on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, is an important activity organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association, expressing gratitude and affirming the noble morality of the nation, remembering the merits of heroes, martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiaries, and families of war invalids and sick soldiers who have devoted a priceless part of their lives, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.
