Man City beat Man Utd on penalties to win the Community Shield

Man City faced Man Utd in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium. Man Utd scored first but Man City won on penalties.

Man City started the game better. The midfield, consisting of young players such as Oscar Bobb, James McAtee and Nico O'Reilly, kept the ball and combined confidently. However, they rarely created finishing chances.

Man Utd defended tightly, not leaving many gaps for the opponent to exploit. Erling Haaland was lackluster.
