January, the beginning month of a new year comes with warm love.

January, the beginning month of a new year comes with warm love.

In January, after the cold and gloomy winter days, the sky gradually clears up, the sunshine is gentle, sweet and soft like a silk strip. Flowers, birds and animals begin to wake up, singing joyful songs. In January, walking in the drizzle, my heart is still filled with sweet, poetic colors and scents, peaceful, pure, magical sounds...

In January, along with the joyful and exciting atmosphere of heaven and earth, bustling and exciting festivals have begun. Adults, children, young men and women eagerly go to festivals and enjoy spring. My sisters and I also prepare to go to the village festival. My father said that going to the village festival will help us to feel more clearly and appreciate the beauty and cultural soul of our homeland that has always been preserved for generations. We also follow my mother to the pagoda. Going to the pagoda at the beginning of the year, in the fragrant incense smoke, my sisters and I always pray for peace, luck, and the best things to come to ourselves, our families, our homeland, and our country.

January came to the old apricot tree in front of the gate. The apricot blossoms slowly drooped their petals, returning to their roots, giving the tree back tender green buds. She hesitated, her hands sweeping up the carpet of fallen yellow flowers, her heart filled with nostalgia...

In January, he took his grandson by the hand to the garden. The two of them happily watched the new buds, touching the earth and sky with bewildered, shy, and reserved eyes. The grandson asked curious questions, and the grandfather kindly answered. The story of the first spring seeds between the two generations continued to linger on in endless joy.

In January, my mother went to the fields. It seemed that for farmers like my mother, the village fields were close friends. Meeting aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbors... some carrying hoes, some carrying fertilizer, some carrying sickles in the fields filled with the scent of spring, talking about rice, seedlings, children, neighbors... just like that. My mother's smile was gentle and bright. January was even more pure with beautiful wishes for a bountiful harvest.

In January, after the days of family reunion, grandparents and parents were with their children and grandchildren with so much joy and happiness, now they reluctantly said goodbye. Some went back to the South to work, some went to the North to study, the love for their homeland was wrapped up by parents in each can of rice, cake, bunch of vegetables... for their children to bring as gifts. The train whistle blew repeatedly on the platform, fathers reluctantly said goodbye to their grandchildren with warm, trusting hugs. Mother hid her tears behind her worn brown shirt, cheerfully and cheerfully: "Children, remember to take care of your health. Come back next year to celebrate Tet with your parents!" The promise of returning for the family reunion next year from her grandchildren helped her somewhat ease her longing. Then, I saw mother raise her hand and mumble, starting to count the months and days.

Surely everyone loves and cherishes January, the beginning month of the year with all the desired expectations: health, work, study, love, happiness... For me, January is so peaceful, passionate and sacred. Going through the middle of January, I can return to live among family, homeland, and roots... And I love this life even more!
