They wear protective gear to avoid bee stings.Each beehive will have a queen bee who "commands" the honey collection work of the entire colony.Beehives are placed in lychee gardens to make it easier for bees to collect honey. The people who go with the bees to collect honey come from many places inside and outside the province. Wherever the bees go, they go, sometimes across the length of the country.Beeswax is taken out to sell to people who like to soak in wine or to people who process beauty products such as lip balm, facial masks, and skin care products.This year, Minh Khang Honey Bee Cooperative (Ninh Giang, Hai Duong) brought more than 1,500 bee colonies to collect lychee honey in Thanh Ha. Although it has only been brought in for nearly a week, the cooperative has already collected 4 tons of honey. Currently, the cooperative has 5 members, each member is responsible for looking after a point and supporting each other when harvesting honey.The drops of honey after being filtered of impurities and bottled attract many buyers. Selling price 110,000 VND/bottle of honeyThanh Ha district currently has 3,285 hectares of lychee, of which 1,700 hectares are early lychee, accounting for 52% of the area, mainly grown in the communes of Ha Dong area. Compared to previous years, this year the lychee flowers are the most beautiful and even. The weather is favorable for lychee to grow, develop, and bear fruit. Currently, the rate of early lychee flowers and blooms is over 95%, and the rate of main-season lychee flowers is currently in bloom is 90%.
