The Labor Code stipulates that every year, based on actual conditions, the Prime Minister decides on Lunar New Year and National Day holidays.
Therefore, every year, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will advise the Prime Minister to decide on the Lunar New Year and National Day holidays based on the opinions of central ministries and branches. According to regulations, Lunar New Year is 5 days off and National Day is 2 days off.
Therefore, at the end of this year, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will consult with ministries and branches on the number of holidays for the 2025 Lunar New Year and National Day. After that, the Prime Minister will decide on the specific holiday schedule.
