All appeals of the People's Procuracy of Hai Duong province were accepted.

On the afternoon of July 2, the Legal Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council worked with the Provincial People's Procuracy to review the report on the unit's work results in the first 6 months of 2024 presented at the 23rd session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial People's Procuracy exceeded the targets of many professional activities of the sector and the targets assigned by the National Assembly. The rate of case settlement at the prosecution stage reached nearly 99.7% (exceeding nearly 4.7%). There were no cases of overdue detention or temporary detention, 100% of arrest and detention cases were transferred to criminal proceedings. The quality of criminal and civil protests was improved, the acceptance rate reached 100% (exceeding 30%)...

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial People's Procuracy requested the Provincial People's Council to strengthen supervision of all levels and sectors in implementing resolutions of the National Assembly and the People's Council on the fight against and prevention of crime; and the implementation of recommendations and requests of the People's Procuracy at two levels for relevant agencies.

It is recommended that the province pay attention to investing in and improving the capacity of the province's judicial support agencies, including allocating land funds to build headquarters of the People's Procuracy of Cam Giang, Kim Thanh, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha districts and Kinh Mon town. Provide partial funding support for the sector to purchase information technology equipment to serve professional tasks. Consider having policies to support income increase for civil servants in the prosecution sector when the workload, pressure and responsibility of work are increasing...

The leaders of the Provincial People's Procuracy also clarified some opinions of the delegates on the work of recommendations and protests; the work of forecasting, propaganda, legal education, and recommendations on measures to prevent crimes of murder and intentional injury; and drug crimes in some places that are still complicated.

The leaders of the Legal Department requested that in the coming time, the Provincial People's Procuracy actively coordinate with relevant functional agencies to effectively handle serious and especially serious cases that are of public concern; effectively carry out legal propaganda, dissemination and education; have solutions to curb crimes and violations of the law; effectively combat wrongful convictions and missed crimes.
