All 9 Hai Duong rowing athletes in the Vietnamese team won gold medals at the Southeast Asian tournament.

On June 30, the Southeast Asian Youth, U19, U23 and Championship Rowing Championships hosted by Vietnam ended in Hai Phong after 5 days of competition. All 9 Hai Duong rowers in the national team won gold medals.

At this tournament, the Vietnamese delegation consisted of 252 athletes, competing in all events, of which Hai Duong had 9 athletes and 4 coaches. 9 Hai Duong rowers including: Nguyen The Anh Duc, Trieu Hoang Long, Nguyen Huu Thanh, Vu Lam Phong, Tran Huy Tiep, Nguyen Thi Giang, Duong Thi Hoa Hue, Bui Van Hoan and Nhu Dinh Nam won a total of 12 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.

From July 4-7, canoeing at the above tournaments will begin. Hai Duong delegation has 13 athletes and 3 coaches participating in the tournament.
