Hai Duong Department of Agriculture and Environment has 18 departments and affiliated units.

On the morning of March 3, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hai Duong held a conference to announce the decision on organizational structure and personnel work.

At the conference, the Department of Agriculture and Environment announced the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on reorganizing specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, establishing the Department of Agriculture and Environment; the decision of the Provincial People's Committee stipulating the position, functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; decisions on reorganizing, merging and consolidating units under the Department and decisions on personnel work of departments and units under the Department.

Accordingly, after the merger, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has 18 departments and affiliated units including: Office; Inspectorate; Planning - Finance Department; Construction Management and Operations Department; Land Management Department; Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing Department; Mineral Resources Department; Environmental Management Department; Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection; Department of Livestock, Aquatic Products and Veterinary Medicine; Forestry Department; Rural Development Department; Irrigation Department; Forest Management Board; Agricultural Extension Center; Land Fund Development Center; Land Registration Office; Center for Monitoring and Natural Resources and Environment.

At the conference, the Department of Agriculture and Environment announced the appointment decisions for 18 comrades holding the positions of heads of departments and units under the department and 45 deputy leaders. Of which, the Land Registration Office has the most deputy leaders (6 people), followed by the Department Inspectorate, the Rural Development Sub-Department, each department and unit has 5 deputy leaders; the remaining departments and units have 1-4 deputy leaders.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Bui Van Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, requested the newly appointed comrades to quickly grasp the work, be proactive and creative in the leadership and direction process, promote the spirit of solidarity, closely coordinate with the collective, contributing to the stronger development of the agricultural and environmental sectors.
