Recently, the number of dengue fever cases in Hai Duong has been increasing. Currently, the province has 2 active dengue fever outbreaks.
According to the Hai Duong Province Center for Disease Control, from November 18 to 24, the province recorded 54 cases of dengue fever, an increase of 13 cases compared to the previous week. Dengue fever patients were in 10/12 districts and cities (except Kinh Mon and Thanh Mien). Hai Duong City had the highest number of dengue fever cases (23 cases), the remaining localities had 1-9 cases.
Hai Duong currently has two active dengue fever outbreaks in Thanh Ha and Binh Giang districts. The outbreak in An Liet village, Thanh Hai commune (Thanh Ha) has 8 people with dengue fever. This outbreak recorded the first case on November 17, the latest case was discovered on November 20. Currently, 5 patients are being treated at medical facilities, 3 people are being monitored at home. The outbreak in My Trach village, Binh Minh commune (Binh Giang) has 2 patients who have both been discharged from the hospital, since November 15 until now there have been no new cases.
Since the beginning of 2024, Hai Duong has had 971 cases of dengue fever. Localities with many cases are Hai Duong City (305 cases), Thanh Ha (141 cases), Binh Giang (87 cases)... The province has not had any deaths due to dengue fever.
