Aston Martin DB12 supercar appeared in Hanoi, rumored price over 15 billion

Like other 2-door sports cars, Aston Martin's supercars are quite picky in Vietnam because their performance does not match their price. In addition, the DBX super SUV is more popular with the rich. However, the British car company still imports cars to serve the rich instead of waiting for customers to order.

Recently, an Aston Martin DB12 appeared in Hanoi and quickly attracted attention from car enthusiasts. The car is located at the Ducati service center - the same distributor as Bentley and Aston Martin. According to research, the supercar has been here for a long time. Most likely, the car is waiting for the completion of procedures to be delivered to the owner.

The exterior of the car is painted in the characteristic green color of the DB12 line, accompanied by a set of 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. Some details such as the rearview mirror cover, grille, side panels, hood, etc. are painted in black to create highlights. These are two optional packages of the lower/upper body painted in glossy black, included in the manufacturer's option list.

DB12 is a supercar line born to replace the "senior" DB11, announced by the British car company in May 2023, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the establishment of this brand. The car's design is quite similar to the DB11, but the design of the front of the car has been slightly changed with a larger grille. Meanwhile, the rear of the car still retains the simplicity of its predecessor.

The interior of the car is also completely new, with a more modern design than the old version. Behind the steering wheel is a multi-information screen, while the center console uses a 10.25-inch touch screen that supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The high-end sound system comes from the Bowers & Wilkins brand with 15 speakers or 11 standard speakers.

The Aston Martin DB12 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 671 horsepower and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. Compared to its predecessor, the DB11, the capacity is 143 horsepower and 125 Nm stronger. Thanks to that, the supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 325 km/h.

The price of this supercar after paying full tax in Vietnam is currently unknown, but it is estimated that Vietnamese tycoons have to spend over 15 billion VND to own an Aston Martin DB12 - equal to the selling price of the DB11 that was officially distributed in our country. In 2023, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu bought an authentic DB11 for nearly 20 billion VND.
