The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued Circular No. 17/2023/TT-BGDDT dated October 10, 2023 on Regulations on national excellent student selection exams replacing Circular No. 56/2011/TT-BGDDT.
Accordingly, Circular 17 stipulates that the maximum number of candidates of each unit is 10 candidates, with Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi having 20 candidates. Regarding exam questions, grading, standards, conditions for members participating in the Examination Council for the International Olympic Team Selection Exam, etc., increasing the participation of higher education institutions, departments of education and training in the stages of exam organization... The Circular takes effect from November 25, 2023.
