The National Assembly officially voted to pass the Law on Real Estate Business (amended)

This morning, November 28, the National Assembly voted on the Law on Real Estate Business (amended).

With 465 delegates in favor, accounting for 94.13% of the total number of delegates, the Law on Real Estate Business (amended) was officially passed.

Previously, the draft law was discussed by National Assembly deputies in the hall on October 31. There were 26 opinions expressed by National Assembly deputies, 4 opinions debated by National Assembly deputies in the hall.

The issues that delegates are concerned about are the completion of the draft law to resolve the situation of "price inflation" and "deposit rejection" in real estate bidding, the situation of using one project to boost prices for another project to push up real estate prices, disrupting the market and causing harm to the economy.

Besides, there is the situation of abandoned projects, causing waste of resources; the issue of reviewing to prevent overlapping laws; the issue of housing ownership...

According to Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh, the Standing Committee of the Economic Committee coordinated with the drafting agency (Ministry of Construction), the Standing Committee of the Law Committee and relevant agencies to study, absorb and explain the opinions of National Assembly deputies and revise the draft law.

The draft law after being accepted and revised consists of 10 chapters and 83 articles (1 article more than the draft law submitted to the National Assembly for comments at the 6th Session).
