In his letter of support, Vo Xuan Nghi, a student of class 4/2 at Le Lai Primary School, wrote: "During the summer, I collected beer cans to sell and the prize money from my city swimming competition. I collected this money to send to support my friends in the North. I hope they will be very happy."

Knowing that many students had lost all their books after the disaster, Duong Ngoc Yen Nhi (7B grade student, Ninh Thanh Secondary School) and Dinh Khanh Duy (2E grade student, Tan Thanh Primary School, Ninh Binh) proactively asked their parents to use 2 million VND from their annual lucky money savings to support students in flood-hit areas. Yen Nhi shared: “Right now, while I am sitting here, many students are being flooded, losing all their books, many students are eating instant noodles. I want to contribute a small part to help students in flood-hit areas; I hope that they will overcome their difficulties, stay healthy, and soon be able to go back to school.”

Vu Dinh Quy and Vu Dinh Giap, 5th grade students of Hai Ba Trung Primary School (Krong Buk District, Dak Lak) went directly to the Krong Buk District Youth Union to donate 319,000 VND, the amount they saved and the money they earned from selling scrap metal, to students in the area affected by storm No. 3.

With the spirit of sharing food and clothes, having little to contribute little, having much to contribute much, two students Dao Chien Thang - Dao Duc Loi, students of Tan Uyen Town Secondary School (Lai Chau) donated 805,000 VND to send to people in flooded areas. This is the amount of money they saved from the breakfast money their parents gave them every day.
