A group of U40 friends in Hanoi "escaped their children" and traveled to Quang Ngai to "find their youth again".

In mid-June, Mr. Truong Manh Huy (36 years old, photographer, living in Hanoi), Ms. Dang Thu Hien (35 years old) and 3 close friends went on a trip to "find youth again" in Quang Ngai. Mr. Huy called this a trip to "escape from children" at the age of U40.

"The 5-day journey to explore Quang Ngai was a wonderful memory for us. The whole group traveled on motorbikes, driving more than 120km each day to see the blue beaches, breathe in the cool sea breeze, and immerse ourselves in the sunset. We were like children immersed in nature, splashing around in the ocean, playing carefree with friends, forgetting all worries and sadness. The trip was like a ticket back to youth," Huy and his wife shared.

Mr. Huy said that the three male members of the group have been playing together for nearly 20 years, since they were students. Later, the group "admitted" two more female members, Mr. Huy's wife and the wife of another member.

Before getting married, the group had many trips and discoveries together every weekend, holiday, and Tet. However, when two couples in the group got married and had children, arranging time to meet became difficult. "Now that the children are older, we decided to send them to their grandparents, spend a few short days to regain our youth once again, and relieve the pressures of life," said Mr. Huy.

A group of close friends took a sleeper bus from Hanoi to Quang Ngai city. There, they rented three motorbikes and traveled to many different locations.

On the first day, the group went to Duc Pho town, explored My A port, Hoc Mo beach, Chau Me beach. The next three days, the group visited Hon Nhan, Ba Lang An cape, Xep beach, Nghia An embankment.

"We prioritize destinations with beautiful scenery and few tourists. Although these places have limited services, they are quiet and retain their wild beauty," said Mr. Huy.

The place that impressed the group was Bai Xep. Bai Xep - Hon Nhan is located in Ghenh Da hamlet, Binh Chau, Binh Son. Bai Xep was formed from the eruption and tectonic activity of the volcanic sedimentary area. The sea here is very shallow and clear, visitors can wade to catch crabs, snails, and seaweed.

Huy's group arrived at Xep beach in the afternoon. When the sun set, there were only 5 friends and a few children from the village on the beach. "The sunset dyed the whole sky pink-orange, reflecting on the blue sea, creating an incredibly beautiful scene that is difficult to describe in words," Huy shared.

Over the past few years, during family trips, Huy and his wife often had to worry about and take care of their young children. This time, they decided to experience the most interesting games.

During the journey to explore Hon Nhan, the group decided to rent 3 SUP boats from the city, carrying motorbikes 25km to Binh Chau beach. Here, tourism services are not yet developed, so the group contacted a local family, asking them to take them to Hon Nhan - about 15 minutes by boat from the coast. Standing on Hon Nhan, visitors can freely admire the vast ocean, look towards Ba Lang An, the lighthouse... especially, Ly Son island appears quite clearly.

The whole group enjoyed diving and SUPing in the middle of the pristine, blue beach, splashing around like kids.

Mr. Huy said that before the trip, the group planned quite carefully from schedule, clothes, health, and finances, each person prepared about 10 million VND to have the most comfortable experience.

"Quang Ngai is very beautiful, with convenient transportation. Tourists can choose to go by car, plane or train, depending on their wishes. We took a sleeper bus into the city and returned by plane. Quang Ngai specialties are delicious and cheap, and the people are extremely hospitable. If I have the chance, I will definitely return to Quang Ngai again," said Mr. Huy.
