Lego, the toy manufacturing company, has just released a Mercedes G-Class model car made of 2,891 pieces to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the launch of this SUV line at a very high price.
Recently, the famous Danish toy company Lego has launched its latest product line called Technic G-Class, modeled after the Mercedes G-Class to celebrate the 45th anniversary of this legendary SUV line.
As the name suggests, this is a product of Lego's Technic line, which means it will focus on function rather than being eye-catching and "smooth" like other lines. The completed G-Class will be assembled from 2,891 individual pieces, requiring players to be extremely meticulous to complete.
True to form, the G-Class model car has a sturdy and square design. The finished model measures 16.5 inches (43cm) long, 8 inches (20cm) wide and 8.5 inches (22cm) high.
Although it is just a model, the Mercedes G-Class has all the functional parts such as the hood with the 6-cylinder engine block underneath. The doors and trunk can all be opened. Even the inside of the car has all the details such as the gear lever, differential lock and steering function control systems.
The Lego set is priced at $249.99 and Mercedes CEO Ola Kaellenius recently confirmed that the model is available worldwide.
In addition to the Technic G-Class with a rather high price, customers can choose the Lego Speed Champions G63 product line with only 808 pieces for 44.99 USD (more than 1.1 million VND). However, this product is quite small and only has a length of 7 inches (18cm).
